Note: Snapmaker U1 Orca Temp Tower triggers spaghetti detect

Just an FYI to Snapmaker and not sure if others have had the issue (and I know you can turn this off) but the Spaghetti detection AI/Algorithm triggers on every change in temperature in the Orca Temp Test Tower.

Might be something to look into.

If you can provide the 3MF file you printed, or logs from the machine or slicer, we might be able to diagnose the issue better.

The temperature tower is one of the built in Calibration prints. It sounds as though the geometry itself triggers the detection?

Exactly. Just select the temp tower and print with it centered in the plate and it tirggers once per step. It isn’t a big deal but thought it worth investigating to fine tune the algorithm itself.

Hello, I have the same problem and it is quite annoying, hence I have to go down to the cellar on every temp change. And the app or orca slicer does not have a ignore / continue button in that situation.
Is there any chance I can deactivate the detection while calibrating the filament?

For other’s sand trumbling upon this:

It is possible to just confirm theerror on Desktop Orca Slicer and just klick the grayed ou play button again in device view. The print will resume althougth the button looks deactivated.

You can deactivate the spaghetti detection only directly in the device settings

  1. Open the Settings on the touchscreen.

  2. Navigate to the Print Settings menu item.

  3. Look for AI detection / AI monitoring.

  4. There, you can separately disable Spaghetti detection as well as Foreign object detection.
