Mulit-pass CNC tutorial?

I have an S2 A350 and I’ve successfully completed the CNC tutorial.

Next I want to do a two-pass bas-relief carve. The first pass should do a rough cut and the second pass would do the detail with a v-bit and small step distances.

I can see how to specify multiple processes in Luban, but the running time for the second pass makes me think that Luban is not taking advantage of the rough cut to save time for the detail cut, which is the whole point of doing two passes like that.

Can Luban do what I want, or do I need to dive into Fusion 360?

In either case, I hope someone can share a short description or link to a tutorial about how to do two-pass rough+fine CNC milling.

Thank you!

Luban doesn’t really support that.
This topic contains a lot of information to get you started : Some info on cnc tool changes and combo cnc/laser projects

It’s not a fusion tutorial, but has a lot of tips and tricks that will help you. To get started with fusion I personally did that by looking at tutorials on YouTube. (specifically about the CAM part)
