Doing some more tests in the red solid surface I have, this time a real life image using inline grayscale. I took this picture of the Monument de la Foi while in Québec City and thought it was a good one to give a go.
Red Solid Surface (acrylic, 200mm square); 2500mm/m, 7-100% power, 0.15mm interval, 45 degree scan angle, 10W laser.

I feel like maybe I should have brought the minimum power up to 10-12% to help some of the finer details, maybe nudged the max power down to not wash the sky out. However, I’m still happy how it came out and the details that shown through.
