Modifying Print Parameters

All hints, answers and the manual indicate that one must select the “plus” sign to modify parameters–
however, I am unable to locate any plus anywhere near the printing settings:

Is there some “safety” feature that needs to be changed in order to reveal mod controls?

Hopefully this will work for you.

Open Luban
Select 3DP. The cube icon below the XYZ coordinate system. Upper left-hand corner

In the Print Settings pull-down [ ^ ] , select the gear Icon.

This will open up the Print Settings menu.
Highlight one of the existing Profiles (for example High Quality) and click Copy.

Type your new name in the “Name” Field.
Make any changes to Quality, Shell, Infill, etc. … you desire.
Click Save.

You will now have a new Profile.

Once you close the Print Setting window you can select your new Profile.

Yeah, unfortunately they updated Luban and removed the ‘+’ sign a couple releases ago.
But they haven’t updated any of the support material.
@RLEE has the correct instructions.

It seems that the Product Manager has made this procedure more complicated.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you all for the assistance,

I am able to copy, paste and modify new profiles now.

Still have not figured out how to toggle the auto support feature. The support height I am looking for is no more than 2 or 3 mm in the current case- perhaps that is too small a gap to trigger auto support?

You can add the support manually in Snapmaker Luban 3.14.0.

  • Select the model.
  • Click “Support”
  • Click ‘Add Support’
  • Click “Done” when you finish the process.

Cheers
Edwin
