At least for laser work, I’m missing an LCD preview of the “Go To Working Origin” coordinates before I push the bottom. After I push the bottom the laser head is moving to the specified location. Sometimes when you are skipping the height calibration you are opening the possibility to collide with the laser head-on object.
The solution could be that you are pushing twice on the bottom Go To Working Origin. The first time you get displaced the coordinates and secondly, you are moving the head.

On display today you can see Machine coordinates and Working coordinates (BeforeBottom). The solution could be that the Working coordinates display, the Machine coordinate after pushing Go To Working Origin (AfterBottom).
