Maintenance tips?

Before I started a print today I accidentally touched one of the steel strips and some oil came off on to my fingers. This lead me to think, should I be oiling these? If so, with what should I use?

Are there any maintenance tips or guides available?

I also haven’t had the printer for long and it seems to be getting noisier with each print (but that just could be in my head!).

Thanks, that is useful. It doesn’t specifically mention the steel strips for lubrication, that’s more for the internals. I guess I can use the same stuff.

The strips don’t need lubrication.
Just wipe them off. While you can lubricate them and some people do, you’re more likely to just attract dust and have it stick to them.
