Luban 4.4.0 showing STL file exceeding printable area

I have a STL file (produced from OpenScad) containing an object 343mm in length.
When imported to Luban it is overhanging the 350mm front to back dimension of the A350 bed at both front and back (warning comes up about non-printable area) and will only fit if re-positioned diagonally.
I have been using the A350 for 18 months now and have never come across this problem before.
Is this another 4.4.0 bug?
Thanks for any help.
JC

It might be exceeding the area if you have a brim or skirt on it. That’s the only thing that I can think of as to why it might not be fitting.

Luban doesn’t always center my objects correctly. Sometimes it likes to shift them by 10mm. Check the objects dimensions to double check that it’s the correct size. If it is, see if it’s offset.

Yes, that was the problem … I was distracted by the error message and failed to spot it had defaulted to a brim!
Many thanks,
JC.

Thanks clewis for the suggestion. I am finding 4.4.0 rather more awkward to navigate than previous versions … at 74, I am not as sharp as I once was!
