I thought maybe this was normal because I had to do it every single time, but I seem to lose my bed leveling and extruder calibration data every time I power the machine off and on again. Looking around that doesnt seem to be the typical experience.
Any tips, tricks? This is is for my A350 running what I believe is the latest firmware
This is not normal.
How do you get to the point about thinking it looses the calibration?
Easiest way would be to compare your terminal output if you enter M503 before and after power cycle.
M503 contains your machine settings as the calibration data.
Thats a good point, Im not really sure why i think that I guess. Im fairly inexperienced with all this and just now getting into it seriously after a couple years of having the machine. ill try that out sometime tomorrow and let you know. thanks for the response!
For me there is no need to calibrate the bed every print. It could be necessary if you switch between the tools but in 3dp mode the calibration lasts forever.
I calibrate every 1-2Months depending on the wear of the print sheet or adhesion problems.
