I have 2 Snappy 350’s, one is an A and the other is an F. One has an enclosure, one does not. I have a quick swap kit for the enclosed machine - the other one I only use for 3D printing.
I would like to add linear slide bearings to both machines to ensure stable build table movement. Looking for recommendations for rail length and diameter. I know I will need to print adapters for the quick-swap table so looking for proven solutions for standard build platform.
Someone made a kit compatible with the quick change kit. Printed it yesterday; pretty smooth. Only thing I did differently was to print the ‘key’ at 96.5% in the specific axis that is ‘tight’ so I didn’t need to sand it. The one part I missed was that he uses another ‘make’ to attach his blocks to the bed itself.
Really stiffens the whole thing back up; and it’s compatible with the quick change kit.
