I just set up the laser module today and at the end of the calibration it said to update the firmware of the module before use. I looked online to find the latest laser module firmware and all I have been able to find is the general firmware. The general firmware is up to date according to the touchscreen. Where is the laser module firmware?

I saw that post but honest found it very confusing.
I calibrated everything and just updated to the latest version with a usb drive yesterday (the screen said it was up to date when I checked but it wasnātā¦)
I can follow those directions to update the laser toolhead directly easily but I need the file to do so and the general files are way past the one in that thread at this point. Is the file in that thread for the toolhead specifically? I donāt want to put that on a usb and effectively roll back the firmware.
Donāt use the file in that thread, just use the info in there as a method of using the latest firmware - or any other release, some are having issues with the latest versions of firmware and Luban.
There is no separate firmware file for the laser module. The module firmware is within the normal firmware. If you upgrade the snapmaker by wlan only the currently plugged module is updated (if needed, there isnāt allways a new module update with every new firmware). To update the other two it is necesary to download and store the firmware on the usb stick and then power on the snapmaker with the module that needs the update while the usb stick is plugged. Thats what the linked article tries to say.
