Laser Engraving Work Speed

Still learning the process for laser engraving, very new to this. I have the image pulled up in Luban, I have Greyscale selected. I’ve also select Sierra-3 as my preferred algorithm but once I hit process this is where i get lost.

I understand from the Guide that 1500mm/min is the recommended jog speed but a / is used for the work speed and I have no idea what that means. I had someone suggest that just means 1500 work speed but all settings I see tell me that may not be the case.

I’m using a 3mm piece of plywood.
If someone could give me some pointers that would be much appreciated.

You may have had this answered already, but work speed is how fast the head moves per minute.

1500mm (≈59 inches) every minute, which is roughly one inch per second. You will need a very powerful laser to move much faster than that.
