Laser cooling sufficient?

I currently have the 1600mw and am waiting for my 10w to be dispatched eventually.

However, I’m currently using my laser to engrave and cut all day every day, running non-stop for around 15 hours a day, in the enclosure with the extractor running.

I wanted to check, is there any risk of the laser module overheating or breaking through excessive heat with so much use or is the cooling sufficient for all day use?

It’s been fine for me, and the 10W laser module includes overheat protection built in, so in the chance it does get too hot, it stops and waits to cool down before continuing. (If this is a prompt or automatic, I do not know)

Ah that’s great to know, thanks!
I really can’t wait for the 10w to arrive, wish I’d pulled the trigger earlier.
