I did some mods for my enclosure and want to share them with you

Hi everyone,

in the last weeks I did some mods to my enclosure and want to share them with you.
My room only allows to place the Snapmakers enclosure with the large, closed side to the wall.
My room is in the attic, so it has a sloped ceiling, too. Therefor I always had a problem with the placement of the filament spools as intended by snapmaker. Also the placement of the display was not ideal with my setup.
So at the moment I have uploaded 4 mods to printables that address display positioning top of the enclosure, placement of the filament spools on top of the enclosure at the small side and PTFE filament tube arrangement.
Even I designed them for the A350 enclosure they should also work for A250 enclosure (if the screws for the top plate are placed the same).
Here is the link to the collection on printables:

More mods will follow in this collection.

BR,
Thomas

Awesome mods! I have a similar space issue; but I want to try something a little risky?

I’ve seen aquarium stands built out of aluminum t-channel that hold thousands of pounds of weight. Do you think if I cut a 1/4" piece of plywood that is the same dimensions as the top of the enclosure, to spread out some weight, and the edges of the plywood are resting on the ‘frame’; would this support 100 pounds safely? I think it will be fine…I want to put 2 smaller printers on top. What are your thought?

I did something similar, but not as elegant for the filament.
