As it states my right side hot end will not stop heating the fan works btw. Ive done the usual turn off on check for lose wires/cables. Then i took out the hot end inspected it check wires did a ohms check both heater and temp sensor was with in range check for either sensor being crushed under set screw both were good. Where do i go from here do i pull board out of extuder head and check it. If i do i dont know what to check for ohms wise or where at that. Could i have a bad board? What sucks is there is less than 100hrs on the unit.
I’d try sending this to support@snapmaker.com for help. May indeed be a bad hotend, or otherwise…
It’s not helpful to post multiple topics about the same problem.
Do you mean it stops not heating after the print finished?
Is the temperature displayed on the touchscreen and does it change while heating/printing?
Can you swap parts left-right to see if the problem swaps over too?
Also, some of your sentences don’t make sense:
“right side hot end will not stop heating the fan”
That’s how it reads.
I had a know working hot end swaped it with the same problem.
No complete opposite. the moment its turned on the hot end starts heating and wont shut off to the point it throws a code stateing there is a abnormal temp. On right nozzle. I swaped the hot end for a known working one to no avail.
I sent it in still waiting on response. Thank you
Have you tried to tune the hotend PID?
Settings > Machine Settings > Hot End PID Auto Tune
It’s in settings correct.
Sorry literally just seen you sent how to get to it
Trying it now
No it didn’t work
Does it display anything?
Is there change if you heat it?
It does display and the temp only goes up. Even if i press heat on extruder tab and turn it off
In this case I think your controller or toolhead pcb is broken, open a ticket:
