has anybody a idea, is snapmaker 2 able to do G2 G3 comands or have heard about planing something?
octoprint has a addon that converts G1 to G2 G3 (no plan how) but with it the stakkato of the steppers go away and it moves very smooth. When I think about it that sounds nice and improofs printquality.
What are your toughts about this?
The Fusion 360 post-process file for Snapmaker2 is written in a way that indicates at least some forms of G2 and G3 are supported, but I’ve never tested that.
Yes, it’s enabled by default and works fine in my experience. (But see Future Firmware Support ? - Arc Welder (Anti-Stutter and GCode Compression))
You can additionally enable G5 (bezier curves) if you recompile the firmware, but I don’t know of any code using it yet.
