Flow Calibration for one new spool

How can I start the flow calibration for only one spool when changing the filament? I changed one spool and could only start the flow calibration for all toolheads. Maybe I’m missing something.

You can’t! Current firmware does not support that.

This will be feature request.

Best workaround will be manually calibrate your filaments and not use auto calibration.

To be clear, “Dynamic flow” refers to pressure advance. Marketing speak adopted from other brands, I think.

The manual flow calibration is the one suggested by and included in OrcaSliver, no ?

It has been noted it a while ago :slight_smile: just didn’t have resources to implement it yet.

Thank you, I love the feature but having to go through all 4 nozzles is just too time consuming when only a single spool (or 2) are changed out.

You can now run the calibration for just one nozzle.

On print start, activate flow calibration and click “advanced” on the right side to select just the required nozzle.

I’m on 1.3.0 which says it’s the latest, am I missing something?

Oh, i mean on the display. I Just send to printer and print on the screen. Dont know if it is also working from snorca.

I remember that after changing the filament, when loading and extruding the filament, the machine automatically performs a flow calibration.

Don’t you have to enable Extrusion Flow Calibration in the print dialogue for it to run?

When the slicing software sends a print job, it will ask whether to perform flow calibration for the print head. However, this is a one-time calibration and only applies to the current print. If you need it to be permanent, you can directly modify the parameters in the filament settings of the slicing software.

You can also choose to print directly without calibration; generally, it’s not a big issue.

What’s the benefit of doing a one-time extrusion flow calibration for the current print job when printer has already calibrated it after filament change?
