It would be even better if you could provide some specific information!
Actually, I’m also a J1 KS backer. The layer-shift you mention shows up mostly when print speed and acceleration are high. I later found the J1 Y-motor may lack torque; two fixes—unofficial but proven—both tricky:
I swapped the Y-motor for a taller, higher-torque 42-stepper; the alloy rib behind it had to be ground away to fit the extra height. After that, Y-shifts vanished.
I redesigned the X rail: replaced the heavy alloy extrusion and mount with twin carbon-fiber rods, cutting moving mass and easing the Y-motor’s load.
If you don’t plan to modify, I recommend simply reducing acceleration and print speed!
I have a small feature request: add another line for the filename, so they don’t need to be truncated, or reveal the full filename in the details page. Like in the screenshot below, crucial information stored in the filename gets completely hidden, and not even in the details page can you see the complete filename!
One more idea that could be finished quickly: you start a print. The printer HOMES. You realize you loaded the wrong filament, so you press cancel, the printer HOMES. Then you want to change filament. The printer HOMES again. Now you restart the print hob - the printer HOMES. Please introduce a setting that when there was no release of the motors after the last homing, you don’t actually need to home again - just move to the position where you want the toolhead to be. <3
