Filament supply from above

Hello again!
I had some problems with the positioning of my printer with enclosure because of the small space in my workshop.

At first I used a PTFE Tubing and bushing to pass through the enclosure and reduce filament friction: (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4610656), but it was still not good enough because the distance between the wall and the housing was too close.

I thought about feeding the filament from above and found a nice solution.

I used two of these pass throughs https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:961881/files .
I Drilled carefully a hole in the top plate of the enclosure and hot- glued one pass through on top.
Afterwards I drilled four holes for the screws and connected the two pass throughs together with screws.

Then I glued a ptfe tubing inside the pass throughs.
I use this as a spool holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047554

Nice! I am thinking of doing something similar, I also have a cramped space and the spool holder is in a really inconvenient spot. I was going to keep it simple by drilling a proper sized hole and just pushing the collar that came with the machine for the side-input into the hole in the top! haha… but yours has an ability to stick in a little piece of sponge or something to clear dust off the filament as is it passes through… hmm…
