There are lots of people in the forums using alternate software. Collection Of Guide Links - #9 by Skreelink has a bunch of them. If there’s something you want that’s not in that list, search the forums. Somebody here has tried it. I’ve seen multiple posts about hardened hot ends for abrasion, as well as larger and smaller nozzles.
Personally, I’m using Cura for 3DP. If I ever try CNC or Laser, I’ll start with Luban. I have no experience in those, so I’ll want a newb experience.
