Other way around: If it is not that shipped, you will get same quality like in hardware Store. And for Germany: this will be painful. Broken and bent sheets for a lot of money.
Maybe to much waste but all Wood came in best condition to me. The Competitor with a big X in their Tool uses less plastics, but i Had damaged pieces from shipping with them…
And remember: you paid lot Money for those sheets;) hopefully the plastic is recycled stuff.
We should review the design and delivery costs of our accessories package to identify potential improvements. Of course, we would ensure the delivery quality as before. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
as an early adopter, i have ordered a lot of modules. i have also experienced issues needing customer support sending parts. of course, there is the long list of items from the web site.
so i have seen a lot of packaging. i must admit that when i got a shipment nearly identical to this post i was a little surprised.
i can also attest that black packing foam can be reused in many ways.
however given the alternative in a world full of things that can’t be controlled, snapmaker has to design packaging at the same levels of their machines. im pretty removed from the world and things happen. all the parts in this box worked. so module packing i would humbly retain, but maybe revisit other products.
this mangled package protected the module so it worked on arrival
