Looking great already…
Yes it really looks great. I would love to buy the final Version and use it for my cnc. Thanks
100% I’d purchase the model too.
Happy holidays. I am still working on it. Having a hard time with the fitment and joining the two halves of the volute housing together. With running a business and a lot of family issues I just haven’t been able to get to it, but I have vacation coming up, and I have been forcing myself to set time aside to polish it off.
Very cool. I also wonder if balancing the impeller is an issue.
What hose are you using? It looks like a standard small vacuum hose. I bought one of those hoses for clean cooling air intake for the 40w laser but I’m concerned how rigid the hose is.
It is a standard 1.25" hose. The rigidity hasn’t been a problem for me. The Snapmaker is sufficiently rigid, and the pump housing seems to be solid enough to handle the bending stresses.
The sound seems to be from the natural action of the cutwater, just like how a siren works. I am going to reshape it a bit and see if it does better. Right now I’m focused on the snap fits.
Just wanted to drop an update. Been working through all of the issues. Finally think I might have sorted it all out. Printing the version 1.4.2 which might be the final.
The new model is posted on Cults3D! Snapmaker 200W Self-Impelled Dust Shoe

Happy New Year!
Oh no WAY!!!
This is a crazy day, first we know how to get to 2.0 android backstage, now this!
Thank you!
Purchased!
Hi Mr. Ramiez,
It would be kind to tell us which slicer you use and some input for the up and down side to beput on the plate an infill % etc ? I would like to know if it is an 1.25 in ID or OD tubing that fit the outlet too.
I will purchase it, but as a newbie, I want to know if I can print it correctly.
Michel
I use Cura, and within the downloads is the Cura Project with my exact settings, and the .zip file is the cura profile I use with the dual extruder. With those two items you have everything you need to know about how I sliced it.
Thank you sir, I purchase it in 10 minutes. Have an happy new year.
Michel
Same to you! Let me know if you run into any other questions.
I receveid today my last purchased of titems (200W CNC upgrade, Rotaryr tool and Swap Kit). After installing all thses, I will try your project and let you know if I succeed or not. I intend to put pics on cults3d too to help your work.
I am used to metric scale, so can you tell me if 1,5 in std hose corresponding to I.D. or O.D. 1,5 in ?
Michel
Cults3d order #112463567
The dimension is ID, and 1.25 inches is the standard size. Something like this should work.
[INTEX 1.0m X Dia 1-1/4" Pump Hose](Intex Pool Hose)
Great. Thank you Aldo for the link.
