You can use a piece of plywood or a couple of pieces of wood, and then mill it. Then you don’t have to bother printing anything and your origin will be exact and your axis will be perfectly parallel to your machine’s axis - without having to do any math.
I have a couple different sizes so I can always keep my work near the center of the bed.
