Bit advice for acrylic project

Hello all,
I’m borrowing my friend’s Snapmaker 2.0 A350 for a very specific project, and I’d like a little advice on which bits I should purchase for it.

I am planning to cut hundreds of 30mm diameter (and larger) circles approximately 3mm deep in 1/4"-thick cast acrylic sheets. I’ll also be cutting 1/4"-wide straight grooves about 1/8" deep in the same material.

Given the quantity of material removal, I was wondering if I should buy a 1/4" collet and use 1/4" bits to reduce cutting time?

I’d also appreciate advice on the type of bits - do I want flat up-cut bits or down-cut bits?

Thanks!

I’ve had the best results on acrylic with these bits:

You can probably find similar in 1/4".
