So I want to use some preset filament profiles, at least as a starting point for tuning. Particularly for TPU which I’m just getting started printing with.
I use Overture TPU, and they have a bunch of filament profiles. Most are for BambuLabs printers, but there are a few others, but no Snapmaker Artisan profiles.
Which would you recommend to use as a starting point for my calibration (i.e. which of these would be closest to the Snapmaker Artisan)?
I don’t know the other printers or had googled them.
In the past I ran a temperature tower and a retraction tower on every new type or brand of filament to get things going.
After a few years, I print every pla with 190°C, petg 225°C and abs at 240°C as starting point and slightly adjust it if necessary.
My retraction 1mm@35mm/s keeps the same, the most impact of stringing or bad finish seems to come from moisture so dry filament is a good starting point in combination to temperature.
