I love the U1, but I hate Snorcaslicer. I just can’t understand it. I spent ages yesterday just trying to set the filament to print a single colour part. It seemed to ignore the setting I entered on the U1. Also, seemed to ignore what I did on the main settings panel. Finally something useful appeared when I selected upload & print(but I did not know I was going to get a chance to choose the toolhead at that point). It feels like the settings are all hidden in obscure locations. I really hope that it is just unfamiliarity, and I’ll learn what it wants eventually. At the moment it is pure frustration.
Maybe the step by step how to helps you:
Coming from Cura, I found it an up-hill struggle too. If it helps, I found vanilla Orca easier than SnOrca (but I’m having to use SnOrca for trials). The latest Orca supports the U1, but there are still things I prefer in Cura.
