Add Load and Unload filament functionality in the Snapmaker app

Currently, both the Android and iOS applications lack the load/unload filament functionality that is available on the printer screen. I believe adding this feature to the mobile apps would be a great improvement, making it much easier for users to control their machines remotely.

Unloading filament I might understand, but how do you load filament without being there at the machine?

To clarify, “loading” refers to having the material fed through the auto feeders and then actually loading it into the nozzles. When you first add them to the feeders, they will stop and sit on top of the toolhead until you press “load.”

Well, obviously you could press “load”!

It’s a moot point, because if you’re going to add unload functionality, there’s little point in omitting load.

Yes, I could, but I also like controlling my printer through my phone, as currently it sits on a low table and I need to kneel to actually use the screen :frowning: So having that option in the app would help a bunch.

I’m pretty sure once you setup the preloading per say and edit what is been fed in then you don’t actually have to prime the toolhead, it will do so when a print calls for it?

But knowing how useful I find controlling my U1 via fluuid having the option in app can’t be a bad thing

Yes, you are correct, it does auto load when you start a print
And as you also said, won’t be a bad thing to have more control over your printer. Especially considering it’s something that is already available through the screen UI

To append this also add an option to automatically unload at the end of certain prints or after every print for those who do a lot of daily printing and often swap filaments.
