Now that it’s working better, here is a 25 hour multi part print:
I just wanted to say thank you for this post. The Creality bed is way better than the cheap junk bed that came with the Snapmaker. I’ve been wrestling with bed adhesion issues ever since I got it and I tried everything (manual level, temperatures, print settings, part cleaning, unscrewing and rescrewing) but nothing worked. I finally found your post, ordered the Creality bed, and secured it with tape. It works amazingly well! First try and zero issues.
Has anyone used one of the aftermarket flexible sheets on the snapmaker?
Hi, How did you make this surface graph?
Can someone help me understand why adjusting the nuts on the underside of the platform that the screws screw into on the top side changes the levelness?
Where i am struggling is the screws screw down as far as they will go based on the heated bed thickness - so even if one tightens the nuts the screws would go down the same amount.
Obviously my thinking is wrong give the observed mesh output, but i am too stupid to work out where my mental model is broken
It is really hard to get first layer good. Mine are looking really bad, so I searched for something and found this thread. I re-screwed everything, changed the magnetic plate, tried multiple runs of calibration (validated between them and take screenshots) and it just sucks. Difference (at its best!) was > 0.7, now it is > 0.8. I will try manual leveling and if it would still suck, I’d go for glass bed…
Here is the screenshot of my bed levels:
