A350 has ceased to function

Ok. So i am picking up Wolfgangs problems, i try to take care of those issue:
Status: It starts, motors are responding for a fraction of a second, display displays an animation, ends with an Screen: “make Something wonderful” and a blue Button “Start”. When pressing this button i am in the Files Menu. If i swipe left i am in a icon Menu with 6 icons, if i try to calibrate of move i am stuck: “Black screen”. Wifi connects. Under “Experimental” and “preferences” i exported the logfiles, some old parts which worked, and now … “exception”

There is another thing which makes me wondering: under “machine” there is NO Entry about Firmware version, the line is blank, no entry. Maybe there is literally no FW inthe device ?

A few questions:

  • Somewhere above it says “ordered a new controller” - did you order a new touchscreen controller or the metal box all cables go into?
  • On the screen that says “Start” (blue button): Are any items (toolhead, kits, etc.) listed? Ideally send a photo from that screen.
  • If you swipe to the 6 icons and go into the “Control” where you can manually move the machine - does anything work? Does anything move?

From the logs I’d infer that you do have some firmware installed, and it somehow reacts… Would you mind to upload the complete log file?

Finally: You can factory-reset the machine: Reset to factory settings? - #3 by CNC-Maker

I would start with a firmware update through usb stick.

Download it to a usb stick and run it from the files menu.
Be patient, it takes a couple of minutes.

Answers:
yes, the Box with the cables was renewed.
No, no items, toolkits displayed
No, cannot move teh Toolhead.

ok. So i removed the LaserHead (2W 1054nm, TH-L-P20-W1064) and installed the normal printer Head. Voila: everything works ! The exchange of the cable box was not necessary …

So it looks to me that with the laser head is something wrong …

and then i upgraded to the latest Firmware version, and, voilá:
Now, also the 2W 1064nm Laser head is recognized.
Solution: it was an too old Firmware to recognize the new Toolhead …

best geards, thx for help, Cebu
