And there doesn’t seem to be a replacement for and individual module on the store page. Have they discontinued the A250 modules other than having to buy a complete set? Does anyone have one of the old type modules in a closet somewhere?
If you email support they’ll sell you one of the old ones for the A250. But I found it was better/cheaper in the long run to just buy a full set of the new linear modules. Full new set was only 2x price of one old module.
Where are you from? I bet there are few users who upgraded to 250t and still have the old modules.
Maybe. Since they can’t (unfortunately) be mixed and matched I ultimately ended up tossing out four perfectly functional original linear modules.
As it turns out, I was able to find a barely used A350 on a Craigslist estate sale. It was missing the print head (I have 2 anyways) but came with an enclosure. Verified everything was functioning correctly. Paid $400. Now I’m going to list the enclosure for a $200 starting bid on eBay. A A250 to A350 upgrade for under $200. Woohoo!

Enclosure sold for $202.50. Bought a set of new updated A250 linear modules for $130, and a new print head for $50. I’ll probably sell the A250 on eBay with a starting bid of $400. So I just upgraded my A250 to an A350 for free. Sweet!
