I just installed the bracing kit on my A350 and wanted to attach the 40W laser module. It seems that the provided M4x22 screws are a bit too long as they collide with something inside the laser module in some places. The M4x14, on the other hand, seems a bit too short (and the manual says to use the M4x22).
Sounds like a question to Snapmaker support - the manual indeed suggests the x22 screws… which I find surprising, as all toolheads without the bracing kit are installed with M4x8, so I’d assumed that all toolheads with bracing kit would use M4x14… Strange…
The 40W Laser has a build in mounting plate for quickswap which will increase the Gap between the Module itself and the Bracing Kit part. So it is comprehensible.
But i have quickswap on all my snapmaker 2.0, so i cannot Check the correct screws.bi would also ask support for that.
Yeah, I will ask support then - just thought that someone else has also experienced this small problem
Exactly, the mounting system on the 40W laser (two rails, one on each side) adds like 4mm (the standard mounting without the bracing kit fits in-between those rails). So I’d guess M4x18 screws would be the right choice here.
