This has been a great forum for everyone who wants to learn more about how to use the U1. I am not a noob, but for the last two years I have mostly been in the Bambu ecosystem and there are things I have been learning with the U1.
I opened this link and downloaded the model zip file and extracted it into a folder.
In Orca slicer I clicked on File→Import→Import 3mf and selected the file “Baby Dragon Multicolor FF BS A1 Mini.3mf” (This was another tip I found in the forum - Easy way to print Makerworld colored files on Snapmaker U1 - #13 by Romonaga)
This will import the file and the painting, but not load the printer and colour information from the model. Then change the filament choices on the left side for the model to the ones you would like to use. You can also use the paint tool to change any of the colours, like doing rainbow toenails on the dragon. Select the model you would like to paint and press “n” as the shortcut to the paint tool. I find the fill tool (Paint Bucket) works best for all the parts of the model (Horns, Spikes, Nails, Belly, Eyes) other than the scales all over the body.
