Iām having the same issue. I downloaded a previous Luban version and voila!
I actually just received my A350 a few weeks and and just started playing with the CNC.
I thought I was the one messing up and iāve been at it for days!!
Thank you for saving my life! lol
I downloaded and installed the version 3.13.1 (Win x64)
Tried to laser engrave as I did many times with v3.10.x - now my G-code inspect remains blank. Only the starting time will be shown.
Second bug (?) I detected: in the former version I had this blue āindicationā and the pointer as well which showed the process on the image I want to engrave - this is also gone.
I use SM 2.0 A350 via WiFi
Shall I switch back to an older version - and if yes - which one? I found both of those functions pretty handyā¦ I did not test with 3d printing yet.
Delete āLubanā config directory and restart the ālubanā will solve the problem.
On macOS:
cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/snapmaker-luban rm -rf Config/
On Windows, Delete the folder
C:\Users[Your Windows User Profile]\AppData\Roaming\snapmaker-luban
Hello Edwin, thanks for your adviceā¦
I tried this - unfortunately, it did not work.
It seems to happen with greyscale-pictures only. The pointer remains at X; Y 0; 0 (middle of the cross). G-code inspect still shows start time, everything else remains blank.
I tried vector cutting - works fine (even before deleting the folder). I print using the camera capture and print with the software, not sending g-code to the machine (I hate to set this work origin every single time new)
btw: I deinstalled the former version completely before installing v3.13.1
Another thing: could we in a future version have a choice for the text - in v3.10 it was b/w scale, now it is vector - for me it is now the difference in printing time 40 min vs 6 hours
the problem still exists with 3.15.1 - exactly the same, no gcode inspect data shown while lasering greyscale pictures. I tried it with connecting via USB/COM, but then I am unable to use camera capture, my printer will not be recognized by Luban, always have to set it manually and I can not set the material thicknessā¦
Could you kindly send me some screenshots of the issue you put here? Send me the file you want to engrave as well.
Thank you in advance.
Edwin
Does anyone else have issues with versions after 3.12ā¦
Every version I update to doesnāt allow settings in process mode in laser engravingā¦
So it absolutely doesnāt work and the annoying thing is that everytime I open luban it ask me to update and if I donāt the next time opening luban it asks 2 timesā¦3timeā¦4timesā¦ now I am at 15 times in need to click later so I can use lubanā¦
its absolute rubbish the new updatesā¦
I am using Mac. anyone got the same problems?
I donāt like the way the settings come up in 3.15 but having no problems with 3.14
Are you clicking on and selecting the object in the window or the object list?
There should be a check box that you can click to turn off the ask to auto update when that dialog box comes up.
