Hi, all. I’m learning the ins and outs of Snapmaker Orca for use with my U1. I have a situation that I can’t figure out. I am printing a model using PLA as the main filament, and support PLA as the main support filament. However, there is a part of the print where I would like to use PVA as the support material.
Is there a way to assign a particular extruder to a particular support surface when slicing?

You can set the Z distance between support and model to 0 and the support interface to PVA, which will also save your PVA consumables.
Thank you, that is exactly what I had in mind.
I find the terminology a bit confusing, though. Is “support/raft base” the material for the support itself, except the interfaces? “Base” seems to suggest that it is the lower interface.

My current print is using Support for PLA and I highly recommend at least one Multimaterial change:
Wipe Tower = base filament, NOT Support for!
My first two prints with Support for, the Prime tower fell because the Wipe tower was set to Support for. Not only is that a waste of more expensive filament, it is also not going to stick to the bed as well.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong on Walls, Infill, and Solid infill in the screenshot below:
There doesn’t seem to be an option to select an extruder for the support structure itself. Can I request that this be added to a future release of Snorca?
