TPU Model with PLA Supports — Configuration Help?

I’m currently trying to print a TPU shoe model using Orca Slicer on Snapemaker U1. The main model needs to be printed with TPU, and the support material should be printed with PLA on a different extruder.

I’m having trouble figuring out how to configure Orca so that the model uses TPU from one extruder and all supports are generated using PLA from another extruder. Every time I slice, the supports still default to the same material as the main model.

Welcome in @Hoveroo :sign_of_the_horns::sign_of_the_horns:

I’m not at my computer but I believe in Snapmaker Orca under the Multi-material tab is where you find the setting for this. I’m guessing someone will post some screenshots for you.

You can set here!

Quick, rough software-interface walkthrough:

Thanks for showing the correct location of the settings @Simon_Zhi! Not sure why i couldn’t remember that it’s the Support tab…

I also forget familiar things until they’re right in front of me—seems like the brain’s auto-filter. Probably just means you’re tired and need a break!!:grin:

It’s been a long day… I appreciate your Support :joy:

Thanks a lot for the response! Now I understand what was going on. Appreciate your help!

Can’t wait to see the print! I finally have access to my TPU again so I’ll have out a pair.
