October Batch Delivery Progress

First of all, we want to sincerely apologize to our October tier backers in Australia and Japan. The arrival dates in these two regions will be later than what we originally communicated on our Kickstarter campaign page.

  • Australia (AU) The shipment arrived at customs and is currently under customs inspection. The process is expected to take 1–2 weeks. After which, the goods will be delivered to the warehouse around December 5. Estimated: AU backers will receive their U1 between December 15–20.

  • Japan (JP) The JP shipment is scheduled to arrive at the warehouse within the next 2 days. JP backers are expected to receive their units between December 3–5.

Shipments for all other regions in the October tier are progressing smoothly and remain on track with the estimated arrival timeline previously provided on the U1 Campaign Page.

To date, around 2300 U1 printers have already arrived at October-tier backers’ homes, and deliveries across all regions are continuing intensively.

November Batch Shipping & Arrival Estimates

The November fulfillment is the biggest milestone of the U1 campaign. It marks the peak of U1 fulfillment, with three reward tiers shipping this month, totaling almost 12,000 units. This is the largest shipment volume across all months so far, and while our production ramp-up has closely followed the planned schedule, the sheer scale brings natural operational challenges.

All November reward tiers are shipping steadily and on schedule. A small portion of units will continue rolling out in early December, and we expect to complete all outbound shipments by the first week of December.

For these tiers, arrival timelines remain consistent with the estimates shared during the Kickstarter campaign, and you’ll find the detailed delivery expectations in the table below.

You can also check the latest shipping status of your rewards on our official website by following these steps:

  • Step 1: Go to the Snapmaker official website.

  • Step 2: Click the profile icon in the top right corner.

  • Step 3: Log in using the email associated with your Kickstarter account:

    • If you have never used this email on the Snapmaker official store, you will need to create a new account.

    • If you have previously used this email, you can log in directly.

  • Step 4: After logging in, click the profile icon again to access your account.

  • Step 5: Click View Details in your order to see your estimated shipping date. We will continue to update your order status here every Tuesday and Thursday as it progresses.

:warning: Notes:

  1. The shipping status for the November batch of U1 orders will be updated on your order page on our official website on December 2nd. Thank you for your patience.

  2. Please make sure to log in using the same email address you used for your Kickstarter pledge to view your U1 shipping information. If you backed the U1 using an Apple ID hidden email, please contact our customer service team at info@snapmaker.com to update your order email. This will ensure you receive all future shipping notifications and can access your order status on our official website.

  3. Shipments of the same reward tier within the same country will be prioritized as follows:

  • a. Deposit Holders who submitted the survey before the survey export date

  • b. Non-Deposit Holders who submitted the survey before the survey export date

  • c. Backers who submitted the survey after the survey export date

  • Within each group, shipments follow the order of Backer Number.

Deposit Cashback (For Deposit Holders Only)

Update on Deposit Cashback – October Reward Tier

Since the refund is processed manually and the U1 arrived earlier than expected, the deposit cashback is taking slightly longer than usual. Our team is expediting the process, and you can expect to receive the $100 refund by November 30 at the latest. We appreciate your understanding and support!

If you have not received your cashback by December 5, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • The email address used for your deposit payment does not match the one used for your Kickstarter U1 order, so we were unable to automatically match your order.

  • The card used for your Kickstarter pledge was a one-time virtual card, which prevented the refund from being processed.

If either of the above applies, please contact our customer service team at info@snapmaker.com as soon as possible for assistance.

November Reward Tiers Deposit Cashback Schedule

Notes:

  1. For deposit holders, the declared value of your U1 will be your purchase price minus the $100 cashback. For shipments to regions outside the US, EU, Japan, Canada, the UK, and Australia, we will process the $100 cashback before the shipment reaches customs to ensure smooth clearance.

  2. If you purchased the U1 on Kickstarter, the $100 cashback will be refunded to the same card used for your Kickstarter payment. Please ensure that this card can receive refunds.

  3. If your Kickstarter payment failed but you later completed your purchase through BackerKit, the $100 cashback will be refunded to the same card used for your BackerKit payment. Please ensure that this card can receive refunds.

  4. If the card on file cannot receive refunds, please contact our customer service team at info@snapmaker.com at least 5 days before the deposit cashback date in your region.

Survey Schedule Update & Tips

For Early Bird – November, Early Bird (Bundle) – November, and Special Offer – November reward tiers:

We have moved the Survey lock date earlier to allow backers more time to resolve any potential errors that may occur during the Survey locking process; however, the final Survey export will still take place on November 28.

  • If your survey shows that your order is locked and you want to update your address, you can click your Survey and select Edit my address at the top right.

  • If you want to modify any add-ons added via the BackerKit Survey, please email our customer service team at info@snapmaker.com for assistance.

  • If your survey shows a failed payment, please follow the instructions provided. Check whether the card information entered during the Survey is correct, ensure the card has sufficient funds, confirm that your card supports this type of transaction, or contact your bank for authorisation. If the issue persists, you can try using a different card or contact our customer service team at info@snapmaker.com for assistance.

  • If your survey shows the address is locked, but you still wish to update it, please email info@snapmaker.com before your order is shipped via courier. Our customer service team will assist you in updating your address.

For Special Offer - December and Late Pledge - January reward tiers:

Based on our experience with the first two batches of Survey releases, we have made the following updates:

  • We have moved the Survey release earlier and will lock orders in stages to allow backers more time to resolve any potential errors that may occur during the Survey locking process.

  • We plan to ship the Late Pledge batch originally scheduled from the China warehouse in January ahead of schedule in December. We will first deliver the Special Offer – December reward tier batch before shipping the Late Pledge batch. For Late Pledge backers who complete the Survey on time, the latest expected local delivery date is March 15, 2026. The detailed shipping schedule will be provided at the end of December.

  1. We will collect addresses from backers via the BackerKit Survey. The emails will be sent from no-reply@s.backerkit.com.

  2. If you backed the U1 using an Apple ID hidden email, you will not be able to receive the survey via that email address. We recommend contacting our customer service team at info@snapmaker.com to update your email address.

  3. Backers who were randomly selected for the Smoke Test will not receive another Survey. Please make sure your previous Survey was completed. We will lock orders and charge cards based on your reward tier.

  4. For the October batch, Korean backers should enter their address in English.

For the November, December, and January batches, Korean backers should enter their address in Korean.

Japanese backers must enter their address in Japanese for all batches.

Mainland China backers must enter their address in Chinese for all batches.

Backers from all other regions should enter their addresses in English for all batches.

Improving Rewards Delivery Experience

With the delivery of the October batch, we reflected on some issues that occurred during fulfillment:

Slightly Later Delivery for Some Deposit Orders

Our logistics team strictly processes deposit orders first, followed by non-deposit orders based on Backer Number. However, since couriers pick up shipments in batches, deposit and non-deposit orders are often collected together. During scanning, the courier scans packages in a random order rather than following our specified sequence. We have taken this as a lesson and will now require courier partners to strictly follow our designated scanning and shipping orders.

Add-Ons Arriving Before U1 Printers

Because U1 printers are packed in full boxes and restocked separately from add-ons, shipments from the overseas warehouse often result in U1 and add-ons orders being split. Due to differences in courier delivery times, this can cause items to arrive at slightly different times. However, the expected delivery difference is generally controlled within one week.

We fully understand the confusion and inconvenience this may cause for our backers. Currently, we have not identified a better solution in the short term, but we will actively implement improvements if a more optimal method becomes available in the future.
