Weโ€™ve seen a few questions about how the U1 deposit works with the Kickstarter offers, so hereโ€™s a clear, friendly breakdown:

What you get with the fully refundable deposit:

  • Access to the U1 Kickstarter link 10 minutes before launch, so you can preview all reward details early.

  • Priority shipping.

  • $100 cashback after your order ships.

How Early Bird fits in:

  • Early Bird spots are limited and given on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • Having the deposit gives you a strong head start, especially with thousands available, but Early Bird slots are not guaranteed.

If you miss Early Bird:

  • Youโ€™ll still enjoy a final price of $729, excl. shipping (Pay $30 deposit, and then Kickstarter price $799 โ€“ $100 cashback).

Good to know:

  • Kickstarter only charges after the campaign ends, so you can freely cancel your pledge during the campaign if you change your mind.

  • You can request a full deposit refund at any time by contacting info@snapmaker.com

Weโ€™ve updated the wording on our U1 Kickstarter Pre-launch and Deposit pages, and will continue improving the U1 page and Ads so everything is as clear as possible.

We just want you to have the full picture before launch, so you can plan ahead and decide what works best for you.

Can you specify the quantities for Early-bird and Special offers?

Thank you.

Hi Viktor,

Thanks for your interest! Weโ€™re sorry, but the quantities for Early-bird and Special offers have already been shared to the extent we can at this time. If youโ€™re interested in the U1, we recommend placing your order as soon as the Kickstarter goes live to secure your spot.

Thank you for understanding!

It is impressive how fast was the first 4000 printers sold. Congratulation!

Now, I have to wait til October

I had a look for the campaign go live and it was my first time, I saw kickstarter got unresponsive. Well done Snapmaker  As much as I canโ€™t understand the beta tester campaign, its success proves you right.
