Spare printable parts?

Nicking the idea from Prusa of having files available for spares that can be printed on the U1

My example is the clips on the PTFE tubes & USB cables, I’ve managed to lose 3 already down the back of my cupboard - There are some 3rd party prints which I’ve tried but they either come out too loose or too tight (squeezing the USB cable)

So wondered if SM might make official printables available in either STL or 3mf format

I’m sure there are other bits like the PFTE guides or even the Toolhead front and back covers that could possibly made available?

Which would allow the end user to quickly print and replace parts & of course customisation of colours/spectrum printing even?

Oh yes, 100% needed! Thanks for suggesting this! Great idea

I can print as many spare dragons as you want!

Great idea!

I haven’t lost any of my clips yet but it would be nice to be able to print some spares just in case.

Did you miss this one as well @Zoe_M ? :innocent:

I heard the model platform will upload some printable files for U1 parts, but I’m not sure whether the files are ready yet.I’ll look into it and see if I can gather more information.

Update:

clip.STL (127.5 KB)

PTFE_guide_upper1.STL (145.5 KB)

PTFE_guide_lower_2.STL (254.3 KB)

Toolhead_adapter_lower.STL (1.7 MB)

Toolhead_adapter_upper.STL (330.5 KB)

Thank you Zoe I’ve downloaded them & will store then with other files I have for the U1 for future use.

Also thank whoever made it possible for you to post them here.
