Yep. That numerical keypad is obviously using the defined ‘Decimal Point’ character for the region.
The coders need to replace that with a ‘full stop’ or ‘period’.
Rookie mistake and obviously untested.
Just a long shot; have you tried a long press?
Thanks for that hint!
Yes, I tried it but didn’t work. I copied / paste the point, that worked.
But since them I have the issue that I can’t login with the third party login service Google. There is only Apple, Facebook and hidden GitHub available.
In the screenshot have I marked it in red, where the hidden GitHub link is available.
Also there is no option to unbind the printer in the app. Also not if you delete the app, reboot and reinstall it.
So I was not able to check it if it happens only one time or is a remaining issue with the comma.
Additional, it seems you can only bind one printer, and not switch between printers if you own more than one U1.
Also it would be nice or better more secure, if for entering user name and password the form allows to use password managers, like Apple password.
Hi, For the 1.5.1 download issue, it should be fixed now. Can you check whether you can update the U1 to the latest 1.5.1?
Best regards.
Android app
Model library needs a method to search.
Currently it only allows scrolling.
I also suggest to add a category selection.
Different types of categories should be allowed and organized.
Right now its seems to be mostly “toys” and other simple things, but there is a very few other useful things, but it’s hard to notice them or find desired results.
Better organization is needed, categories, tags, etc. As the number of available models grows, this will be strongly needed!
I have experience beta testing software and am interested in helping test future releases.
The filament selection in Matching Mode does not seem to work correctly yet.
The design originally used black PLA, and I wanted to change it to silver PLA using the Matching function. However, I have to click on the orange PETG filament for it to switch to silver PLA. The same issue occurs when changing it back, here I have to click on the yellow PETG.
Hi @Zoe_M I would be happy, If I becoming a regular beta tester, and can help to improve the quality of your software and hardware.
Thanks!
Tinkerbarn
I will continue to help when I can unofficially, if that’s OK. I have a back log of things testing already though, so I won’t commit to it and slow you down.
But I’ll be sure to send feedback if I see something?
Iti si working just fine form me with intel GPU
Wipe Tower overlaps the model without any warning during slicing
The fix “Fixed an issue where the wipe tower brim overlapped with the model brim” appears to work as long as the wipe tower and its brim do not extend into the model itself.
However, when the wipe tower is positioned too close to the model and overlaps it, there is currently no warning while positioning it and no error during slicing.
See details in video.
Would it be possible for the slicer to automatically calculate the best available position for the wipe tower?
Only when no suitable position can be found, or when the user explicitly enables a custom wipe tower position, should the automatic repositioning be skipped. In those cases, the slicer should at least display an overlap warning or stop slicing with an error.
Do you need any MAC based testers for SnOrca?
Thanks. We do. And I’ll add your email account to our regular testers tist.![]()
Huge thanks for catching this issue! ![]()
The engineer is prioritizing the fix and won’t push the official release until it’s resolved.
Best regards.

As a token of our appreciation, we’re pleased to offer gift cards to our beta testers. please message me with:
· Your Snapmaker official store email account
· Your location/country
We’ll process the rewards as soon as possible.
I have reported this behaviour, still ot solved. See video here.
I load a .3mf file and save the settings of that project as user preset. Atfer closing and restart of Snorca setting does not show in the user presets. (macOS)
Hi, The issue of .3mf file not saving has been logged in the internal bug fix & improvement backlog, but it is not scheduled to be addressed in V2.3.5.
As for the filament sync issue, I checked with the engineers, and it seems Orca treats PolyTerra PLA as “Generic” because it’s not in any of three embeded Polymaker families.
Hi, this is likely due to historical reasons rather than being specific to this particular version. My guess is that it may relate to the software’s initial positioning. Even on the official software page, Snapmaker Orca is still marked as ‘Beta’. I’ve reported this to the software development team and will get back to you with further details.
