As you might already know - there is a filament dryer coming up from snapmaker brand. I was lucky enough to be a part of the focus group with the production version of the SnapDryer.

And I would like to give it away to one of the forum members. Plus a little something from myself.

What will you receive as a winner of this giveaway

  • SnapDryer and everything included in the original packaging.
  • No Original packaging. Snapdryer will be packed in the random box to insure safe delivery.
  • BONUS item - components for Klicky Probe - 3 magnets and the switch. Can ONLY be used with Single Extruder. Details about Klicky probe => HERE. Print the rest yourself.

You should, IFā€¦

  • You have a reliable address anywhere in the world. Some parts of India or Puerto Rico just canā€™t be used to create a shipping label. There is just no address system. I canā€™t ship items to you if my delivery service doesnā€™t recognize your address.

  • You have a real need for filament dryer and want to get the Klicky Probe working on your Snapmaker 2.0 with single extruder module. Leave the opportunity for others if this is not about you. Please.

  • You are comfortable providing a shipping address IN PRIVATE.

Updated process

  • On November 29th I will make a Numbered list of Alphabetically sorted nicknames and date of post of every member who left a message in this thread.
  • The list will be posted here for everyone to see. Only single entry allowed.
  • Number of entries in the list will determine two numbers (first and last entries). This two numbers will be used at with google random number generator to pick a winning number. See example below.

The Backup process

In case of a winner not willing to accept the items listed above - in any way (including not having an address that can be used for shipping) the process will be repeated with the winner name removed from the list and list posted again here for transparency.

This process will be repeated a total of 3 times (we canā€™t do it forever, right?). 4th attempt to pick a winner will not be happening. Instead - the whole giveaway will be canceled and placed in a trash bin.

What will happen after the winner is determined?

I will get in touch via Forum Private Messages and ask for the address to ship the package to. Nothing else. If the winner didnā€™t reply within 24 hours from my message - see backup process above. A new winner will be picked.

The legal stuff

I donā€™t make any promises here and I donā€™t ask anything in exchange. If the package is lost - oh well. It wonā€™t even be insured. We will all lose in this case. A tracking number will be provided to the winner. Only the items listed above will be shipped. Nothing else. Since Iā€™m covering the shipping worldwide - I think itā€™s fair deal.

  • To insure random pick - the two numbers will be entered in the random number generator on the RANDOM.ORG website. This will limit the generator only to the list entries range.
  • 3 numbers will be generated and the AVERAGE of these three numbers, ROUNDED with Half Round Up method, will determine the WINNER.
  • Screen recording of the process will be posted here for transparency.

Seems interesting, Iā€™m in. Iā€™ve been curious about the polydryer, er, I guess snapdryer now, for a while anyways.

Would be very useful; my SN 2.0 and materials are used in part of the house where the temperature varies from 5Ā°c to 38Ā°c. There is no other place (agreeable with the family :smile:) in the house for it. I suppose itā€™s testament to the Snapmaker design that the machine shows no degradation after being kept and used in such an environment. The Klicky would be welcome too, I have only the single extruder.

Curious about your methodology: if you take the average of 3 random numbers, wonā€™t that create a bell curve of possibilities (e.g. the ā€œmiddle postersā€ will have a higher than average chance)?
