I have been using the Orca Slicer nightly builds on my other 3D printer for a bit now. By far the biggest improvement that could be made for Snapmaker on it would be adding the ability to transfer via WiFi. I know it’s probably a lot tougher to implement than other things, but I would consider that like Top 3 on the priority list. Honestly just that one piece of inconvenience makes me want to stick with Cura, even though the latest Orca nightly builds are shaping up to be FAR superior. Small Area Flow Compensation and Adaptive Pressure Advance are HUGE game changers that the 3D printing community has been wanting for over a decade, and it looks like Orca is the first to seriously consider its development and aim to finally bring it mainstream.
It would also be great to keep the development within the original Orca Slicer repo and releases instead of creating a customized branch, especially for those of us that use it for multiple types of machines. I can see the need for a custom version that remains in constant beta status though, to be used strictly for development testing, and it would be cool to have that available to users who want to help with it before the PRs get sent to the main branch.
