How can I tell if my printer is updated?

So I put the update on the USB, and I’m not sure if it read it since the only file it seen on the USB was the gcode. And there was nothing on the screen showing it was updated or updating.

Is there any way to figure out the version on the machine?

I’m running firmware 2.6.

The firmware version is displayed on the control pad, under Settings > About. The first line is the firmware.

I assume the newer versions use a similar process, but the About screen might look different.

Viewing the settings is only possible with the 3D printhead attached.

Good to know. I have been trying to see the settings with the CNC mill or the laser units, and nothing. I thought you simply cannot see the firmware version at all. I hope they fix this for the laser and CNC units, and not just the 3D unit.
