You think you’re poor tunnel vision is the only right one. You’re choice. I have sympathy for you’re poor capacity’s.
The European machine directive is for us the only way to go and all the bridges are CE matched. Give me the lines from the European machine directive that a emergency stop only may be reset by a power loss.
Geen nood. Ik zal Uw bijdrage in de toekomst met zeer veel plezier negeren. Mensen die zich god wanen zijn aan mij niet besteed.
I have hit the Snapmaker emergency stop a few times before the real catastrophe I thought would occur happens, only to find out that it was fine. I was being overzealous. Using the CNC and rotary, for example, the toolhead moves very quickly over and down and tolerances are tight. It would be nice to just stop with the button, check values/distances, release the stop button and continue if everything is fine. Instead of having to rerack the whole thing from the start. Same with only have to make a slight z offset adjustment.
If the wife is monitoring while I run an errand, etc. She has no issue hitting the big red button to stop vs the pause. Would be nice if she could use it without fear of mistakenly using it and possibly ruining hours of processing, or even worse do not use it until damage occurs or is obvious.
I am sure the developers could add a toggle in the settings that allow recovery from emergency stop or do not allow recovery from emergency stop to make everyone happy.
