LUBAN 4.15
When I run a preview of the printing in the 3D printing module there’s a preview of the time that it takes the print and how much filament it will be used. I exported the GCode but it always write:
;Header Start
;FLAVOR:Marlin
;TIME:6666
;Filament used: 0m
So when I open a gcode in workspace there’s non preview of time WHY?!!!
Bye
Matt
Did you try printing it? - Does it print anything?
There are no problems with the printing itself. It’s just a minor bug that can be fixed easily. It’s very helpful for estimating how much filament is needed and how long the print will take. If I have many files and the filament spool is nearly empty, I can choose which file to print first. The user shouldn’t have to remember all the data manually—it should be stored directly in the G-code, just like it’s shown during the preview in Luban, where all the information is already present. The issue is simply saving that data correctly.
However, even when saving the project files, Luban struggles to preserve the rotation and support settings accurately. It seems that the “saving” process in Luban is particularly challenging.
The entire community is asking for these minor bugs to be resolved, because we want to keep using Luban without having to learn other softwares. Snapmaker needs to listen to its community.
Unfortunately they are not listening here so please open a ticket or email support@snapmaker.com
