G-code fills holes in stl file

I’m printing small wheels to gear down a motor, 6cm in diameter with a 6mm hole in the center. When I generate the G-code Luban fills the hole with skin. Anyone have any idea what’s causing this? It’s a file from SketchUp, exported as stl.

Hey, normally there is a setting which allows you to make a solid piece, this means your gaps and holes would be filled. Unfortunately i didn´t find this setting now.

Which Luban version are you on?
Did you try another slicer?
May you upload your stl to doublecheck?

The latest, 4.1.4
No, I don’t have any. The file seems fine when imported but when I generate the code, the hole is filled.
I get this message when trying to upload the file:
“Sorry, new users can not upload attachments.”

You need to get to trust level 1. You’ve only read 18 posts:

wheel 6mm hole.stl (1.1 MB)

wheel 6mm hole.stl (205.6 KB)
@ Egill,
so with this file it should go !!!

There was an error in the .stl file, imported it with 3D Builder and it gave me an error.
After repairing the file, I was able to open it in Luban as well as in Cura and after creating the G-code, the hole as before in the .stl file is now present !!!

How very nice of you, thank you so much.
Seems I need to get me a different stl-export plug in for SketchUp.

Had a better look at the SketchUp file and found that the inside of the hole had a reversed face. After reversing it, the stl file exports correctly.
Sometimes you need to travel to realise you were looking for the starting point.

Do you use Solid Inspector (From <Extension | SketchUp Extension Warehouse)? I find it invaluable for checking things.

No but thanks for the tip, will check it out.
