Hi, I am suffering from pillowing, which is not great.
As part of my investigations I looked at fan speed. setting fan speed with M106 seems to just turn the fan on full blast (or maybe not) M106 s10 and M106 S255 sound just the same on the fan. Does snap maker firmware allow fan speed control?
Hopefully that’s a typo because the gcode is case sensitive, it must be upper case.
Maybe. It used to, perhaps the latest firmware broke it. Maybe try going back to an older firmware?

Yes, it does work. There is not enough cooling from the fan which is very weak.
