Hey,
This isn’t a special story, but it was my daughter’s birthday recently, and at our kindergarten it’s customary for birthday children to bring a little something for the others. Because my kids liked the “u1 dragon” so much, I printed six copies in four different colors. I also added a twist lock egg in rainbow PLA and a bag of gummy bears. The children, teachers, and parents were delighted.
All in all, it’s just a bit more plastic waste on the planet, of course, but my children love the eggs they can twist and hide their treasures in.
And it is so easy to do without buying any additional stuff, just few meters PLA and some time and much more individual then a paper bag with a new balloon or whistle.

Beautiful project. Hopefully it will be a treasure they keep as it only becomes plastic waste when we stop caring about things. People are paying for Labubu’s, but your kids and those at the school have something all their one of a kind.

I can see where the kids would love those. Where did you find the egg that the dragon would fit in?
Created a rod for your own back there!
These are the eggs I prefer to use: https://makerworld.com/de/models/1470633-dragon-egg-container
Easy to print, easy to open. I had to scale the eggs to 115% so the dragon fits in. But it is possible that I also scaled the dragon, I dont know
I just imported both to snorca and changed the scaling until it fits good.
