My nephew asked for some animal toys. I forgot to get a picture of them, but I included a tree using Snapmaker Wood PLA. I don’t have any green right now, so I’ll give him a spring canopy when I get some.

Finishing up my daughter’s 1st grade science project. She got the brain so last week I printed this awesome model:

I am printing a rather large version - it turns out almost the largest I can can fit on the bed. It will be for an Impact Driver, for which I cannot find a minimally-sized box. To be honest, this is going to take a full reel of filament, and with the time involved, it would make better sense (as usual) to go out and buy one off the shelf, if I could find one.
I will be using Stainless dowels rather than screws, better as a hinge and for the clips rather than rotating on the sharp threads. I have also widened the hinge and clip mountings - I have seen too many boxes break at these points.
How deep do your colours of the hinge mounting, etc, go into the main body? I think I’d prefer the same material all around because the layer path will go around the hinge and clip mountings and be stronger as a result.

I also printed a fairly large box for our e-bike chargers.
The color doesn’t penetrate very deeply in the small version. Perhaps you can work with the interlock setting in the large version.
