Does anyone use bondtech cht nozzle

i have been thinking to increase heat performance with a nozzle upgrade for faster prints. any experience you have with relevant upgrades is welcome

I used the Bondtech CHT MK8 Coated Brass Nozzles when I modified the standard Snapmaker hotend to be all metal. Didn’t notice a massive difference but also wasn’t pushing limits with flow.

For the all metal mod, I also got an MK8 bimetal heatbreak, and the CNC Kitchen Volcano Adapter. At the time the Volcano adapter was v2. Now they have v3, but I dunno which of the two lengths is better off the top of my head.

ah v cool. did you make a post about this all metal upgrade

There’s a long thread of people discussing options here, though my specific one I didn’t post:

To clarify, although it’s detailed in that thread, the CNC Kitchen adapter basically acts as a threaded spacer for the top of the heatbreak if you use a different one that’s too short to fill it. Makes more sense when you see the cross section.
