In my eyes you are pushing your problems the wrong direction. And disqualifies you from my further attention.
To be honest, the first post was not very descriptive, and not very helpful to describe the problem.
It would be the same to say ‘my car won’t start, please tell me what the problem is’
Just because your Wi-Fi works does not mean it is reliable. I had the same problem and installed a repeater.
I have an Orbi mesh router system with two satellites and 99 devices connected to it, 3 of which are other 3D printers.
Not a single device is having an issue other than the U1. It’s sitting right next to my A1 and about 10 feet away from my K2 Plus and neither are having issues.
Two other computers, several smart lights and switches and a Google speaker in that same room and also no issues.
I am running the latest version of Snorca.
I am running the latest version of the firmware.
I am running the flutter_web patch suggested by Manfredo, but I have been “disqualified from his further attention” ![]()
Also, I had a 2 collisions yesterday when doing “by object” printing. Before the printer lowers the bed, it homed and crashed into the model. Their support said “by object” printing is not yet supported in the firmware. This is a valid response, except for the fact, it’s supported and allowed in the slicer.
Look, this printer is a game changer and an outstanding value for what is it and I know there a lot of fan boys out there for it.
I’m describing legitimate issues I’m having with it.
In addition to the network issues, I’m also seeing a LOT of blobbing when creating plaques which I do a lot of. As a matter of fact, I have a stack of them that are unsellable due to this issue:
I’m also having issues, when painting models, it’s not laying the color I’ve painted correctly allowing me to see the color behind it.
Again, I’m using three other printers that are not displaying these issues.
I sincerely hope these issues get resolved soon, not only for us, but especially for others who will be buying this printer.
Push notifications would be nice as well.
God I wish people wouldn’t discuss technical stuff on FB, it just gets lost.
better than discord, the net can scape more of facebook than that black hole of tech support.
