could someone please help a newbie to snapmaker orca, printed the little dragon with no problem. now when i try to print anything i cannot change the filament settings after slicing, assistance appreciated
I don’t use SnOrca myself, but to help those that do help you can you add more information, version? Win/Mac? What does the front panel on your U1 say is loaded and can you edit that?
Try closing Orca and reopening it; sometimes it seems to lose track of the printer’s filaments.

You can reassign filaments on the printer, before printing (having selected the file to print), but the key to changing anything in Orca/SnOrca after slicing is to go back to the Prepare tab. When you are originally in Prepare and click ‘Slice’, the view automatically switches to Preview and you can’t change anything there.
Can’t tell if the printer is connected… is the dot next to the printer name Green? Or Gray?
To double-check, click your printer name, then on the next screen select the printer again to connect.
If you’re having problems connecting, try using LAN mode vs the connecting through the cloud.
